Course Description

In this series you will learn the basics of the xhtml, CSS3 markup and formatting, the building blocks of Web sites on the Internet - which will enable you to build a basic Web site with the functionality of modern Web sites on the Internet. Plus the basics of Standard Query Language (SQL) statements to manipulate databases and covers many of the SQL functions that allow you to manipulate the data within. You will also bring some of that coding and markup knowledge into PhoneGap for mobile applications. The PhoneGap build service is a cloud-based service that enables you to construct web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript™ libraries (such jQuery), and/or other web technologies; upload them to the PhoneGap build service and transform them into mobile application for installation on to Windows® Phone, iPhone®, Android™ phones, to name a few.
